Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)

PACS Planning consultative work is carried out by ECRI Institute drawing on years of PACS planning experience both in the UK and Internationally. Supporting this work is a team of international ECRI Institute professionals with experience of PACS planning from the UK and around world, working to avoid costly PACS Planning mistakes. Broadly, it embodies on-site assessments, research, interviews and utilising the Health Devices PACS evaluations. Assessing clinical workflow, developing business plans, financial models, output based specifications and implementation plans all of which are all part of the ECRI Institute PACS planning solution.

ECRI Institute has undertaken some of the largest PACS planning projects in Europe.

In addtion ECRI Institute has reviewed many PACS and imaging systems in its Health Devices Journal and has a dedicated web site (MITOS) devoted solely to medical imaging.
