HECS Support
The Downloads Area contains various documents, fixes and files
that can be used in conjunction with HECS. This area has restricted
access to HECS Users only. To gain access you must have a
User Name and Password. If you do not already have one of these
then click the Get Membership link, complete the form and a User
Name and Password will be sent through
Equipment Library
Equipment libraries are becoming more popular in hospitals now
and in response to this ECRI Institute Europe have produced a free
add-on module.
The module can be used to track equipment, that is registered on
your HECS database, when it loaned to wards, departments even patients
at home. Because the module links directly into HECS there is no
need to double enter equipment details when equipment is added to
your library.
The module has been developed in MS Access so use it you must have
a full working version of Access 97, Access 2000, or Access XP installed
on the PC which you instead to use. You must also have the ODBC
drivers that are supplied with HECS installed on this PC.
